  2. This Friday Griffin Archers are running our monthly competition.
This time it will be a WA18m round.
It is open to all members, and scores will be added to the club archery league results.

The league winner will be announced during our session on 20th December.
Don’t forget we will be getting together after the session to socialise before Christmas.

  3. 6th July – We attended the Church Fete at Itter Park in Peterborough with our mobile range. Although the weather wasn’t brilliant, we all had a good time teaching everyone how to shoot. Many thanks to all who helped on the day.

  4. Well, we did Low Vision Day for the guys and girls at DeafBlind UK. The day was a roaring success for the club. We taught people of all ages and abilities, and everyone had a great time. Photos will be posted in the gallery as soon as I am able to do it.
Our facebook page already has them (Thanks Di), and we also have them on Instagram (Thanks Chloe).
Myself, Robyn, Wayne and Scott were teaching for most of the day – even having the opportunity to show the High Sheriff of Cambridgeshire how to shoot an arrow. There should be a photograph in the Peterborough Telegraph.

Next, We are off to Paston to run a Have-a-go at the Church Fete event based on Itter Park. Come and find us – we’ll be on the tennis courts.

  5. We had an excellent day on Tuesday. We were invited to St Botolphs School in Peterborough to run a have-a-go session for years 5 and 6. All the kids (and us) had a great day, and we missed the rain too!
Many thanks to Mike, who stepped in at the last minute to tow our trailer, and to Scott who spent the day teaching kids to shoot and hunting for lost arrows.
The next event for us will be Low Vision Day at DeafBlind UK in Peterborough.

  6. Hi guys,

Due to the recent weather we will not be able to use the field tonight.
    Therefore it’s an indoor session.

  7. Well done to everyone who shot on Friday night. I know that it was a new experience for most of you.
With luck and favourable weather, we will be shooting outside again this week.

  8. Friday is here again! Looking for to the club shooting session.
Wishing everyone at Griffin Archers good shooting and higher scores.
