Will you still wear a mask?

Approaching the next change in the COVID-19 guidelines on July 19th. You as an individual, will now be tasked with your own decision-making. We are happy for you to wear a mask if it makes you more comfortable.

As a club, we will continue to follow the Government and Archery GB guidance. We are working on our return to “normal” club meetings and activities. If you have concerns, anxieties and worries – please speak to one of our committee members. We are trying our best to minimise your concerns. We all expect this, given all that we have experienced in the last 18 months.

The charity MIND have put together some advice for all people who may have any, even the slightest, concern about returning to archery. Click on the link and you can see their advice about returning to sports clubs.

Now, Griffin Archers will comply with all COVID-19 safety requirements, cleaning processes and have a current risk assessment in place detailing all of this. We will continue to advise our members of all personal requirements and measures that the club and venue are taking for their safeguarding.

We are pleased that our organised archery meetings are exempt from the rule of 6, but this only applies whilst the meeting is active.

If you would like to speak to us about a Taster session, please use the contact form here.
