BEGINNERS COURSE – TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  •  An application form must be completed prior to the course starting and all medical disclosures relevant to the sport of archery must be declared at that time. (We have qualified First Aiders, one of whom will always be present )
  • Payment of Beginners course fees do not entitle you to membership of Griffin Archers.
  • Advance payment for this course is essential. Places are limited and will be offered on a first come first served basis.
  • Acceptance onto the Beginners course constitutes your obligation to attend.
  • You will already be made aware of course dates and will be contacted with a reminder.
  • Failure to advise of non-attendance will result in expectation of charges to be paid as venue and coaching costs MUST be met.
  • Under 18’s must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or designated responsible adult.
  • The under 18 rules can be discussed for 16/17year olds who are competent to attend independently without accompanying parent/guardian. In this event a parental contact and an independent emergency contact must be provided by applicant and an appropriate adult must give consent IN PERSON, on first attendance.
  • Please discuss with Secretary /Coaching Officer/Chairman if applicant is below 10 years of age before applying.
  • Please advise of any specific needs or requirements of the applicant prior to Beginners course (this will enable the club to partner you correctly with appropriately experienced coach and ensure all equipment is readily available)
  • Griffin Archers coaches are all qualified and registered with Archery GB, all our experienced archers are affiliated with Archery GB.
  • Griffin Archers Indoor and Outdoor Ranges are registered as suitable for purpose by Archery GB.
  • Griffin Archers reserve the right to refuse or rescind the offer of a place on a Beginners Course at any time if safety or constitution is compromised.
